why are some people such idiots?

i posted the following information on another forum for a club i go to regularly and got flamed. man it makes me mad.

anyway- i found a cd with "warhammer" writte on it and it contains every single fanstasy army book plus rules and other stuff. A how jammy is that and be i might  lend it for people who wanted to back up their paper army books in case of fire or flood damage.  

all i got was "you shoudnt be posting this on our forum"

If that forum was - say - Warseer, then I understand the response.

The bigger forums are watched carefully by GW legal and any hint of endorsement towards pirating or illegal copies of their copyright material could lead to the forum being shut down.

Where, exactly, did you find this CD and in what form did these army books appear?

it has every 7th ed book as well as the rules and other stuff like generals compendium etc.

i work in a school IT dept and someone found it in a disc drive and it ended up on my desk cos i like warhammer.

i can only assume some too cool for school mega ace person who is brilliant must have downloaded it from a torrent site or something using vuze (i guess, im not in to this kind of thing)

anyway, i plan to destroy the disc so if anyone wants to discuss the best way to destroy the disc let me know via PM. im sure your input into the best way of getting rid of such important data would be important.

i can sort of see why they got funny but i had the best motives.
it was the forum belonging to the club i goto on monday nights.
