Looking great dude!

I'm not keen on the style of the 'AmRep Newman Class' and 'GZG NSL BDN' ships but thats more a comment on the original miniatures than your painting.

Sorry I never have much to say about Starships, but your painting has improved a lot over the years I've known you.

cheers guys. Strange that the ones you don't like mortis are the ones that have recived the most praise haha!

I've got a ton of spaceship minis that are all ready for painting so maybe I'll get my brushes out this weekend or something.

The painting is excellent, it's the style of ships I don't like.

With the Newman class battleship it's the wings and fins, they lack elegance, too square and right angled to the hull. You don't need wings in space, but if your going to have them they should be shaped like wings. With the 'GZG NSL BDN' it's more of practicality issue, just looks IMHO like the aft-section would break away from the front when those engines fired.

My favourite are the Star Trek ships (of course) and the Sorylian battleship, nice big solid-looking ship!

I'm thinking of modelling Red Dwarf and some HHGTG ships if I ever get round to doing some starships myself

There's a fair few to be honest Mark, the two biggest manufactureres in the UK are:
Ground Zero Games
Brigade Models

I've got a couple of the spacefleet non-combat ships (goliath and castellan I think) if you're interested in them.

Where did you get the Dominion miniatures? From my searching it seems the most likely source was a place called Nashstar Shipyards, but I am unable to find a way to contact them. Does anyone know how to get more of those Dominion ships? Other than ebay...
