help the little green thing doesn't light up!!!

ok for those of you that think i'm deranged don't. the little green dot that shows your online is not lighting up and I know I'm not on hidee mode thingy HELP ps pls pls pls pls pls etc!!! (it doesn't light up on latest post screen only even so pls help I'm goin mad!!)./

I was going to post saying that the green dot can take a little time to come up once you've logged in and a little time to disappear once you've logged out and also that it's nothing to worry about because it's not vital to the operation of the forum.

but I think 'because you have no soul' is a much more interesting answer, so I'm going to with that ...
