can anyone explain this to me as i dont get it or understand why?

ok you design a wargames rule book. lots of fluff, pics etc & charge £45 for it and yet you cant buy any minis for it, you cant use any other minis for it so what the point of doing a rule book for it???

a rant at the new space marine codex; done in a dozen different chapter-themed covers, same book, different cover art!

the thing to remember is 40k was written as Something Cool before Citadel even made miniatures to fit; then it developed until the Buy Out in the late 90s; everything since then is all about making the monies.

forgeworld has a listing for epic BUT NO models just the books AERONAUTICA IMPERIALIS AND TACTICA AERONAUTICA
now GW very little in models so why bother selling the books?
