Okay seeing as im pretty sure now some of us are going to want to start getting gear together so we can play zombies without having to rely on certain people being around (like MortiS Keeper of the Dice)
What do we need for a standard game of zombies?
(of course the rule book is something we need to finish before its 100% complete)
*What Figures (and on average how many of each)?
*What dice?
*What counters and templates?
*What scenery? (Like barrels and Ammo boxes etc)

Some of this was going to be written in.

Games are anywhere from two player [GM & survivor] to.. As many people as want to play.
Generally, a minimum of four people on-board is a good start. So if you're ever short, you'll just need to control a few more people.

Dice.. You'll need a fuckton of D6's, you'll need a D4, a scatter die, a D12 for anyone starting over.. Ideally enough rapid fire dice to cover each player [one each, the ones we use when someone throws a grenade] but if none are found, you could just roll a D3;
1-2 - 1
3-4 - 2
5-6 - 3

You'd need a template for 1", 2" & 3" blasts, and larger if the GM wants to blow the fuck out of people.

As to figures, you'd need enough zombies to cover all spawn points, really.

this would have been better among the thread it's all connected to, though
Mankinds first mistake; Questioning why those around him, are dying.

Here is a picture of the templates we generally use for Messy's Zombie game

1: This is the blast-template from the Starship Troopers game, it's very useful as the inch increments represent the 3 possible  explosion sizes you get when barrels explode. Also the 2" ring is used for standard grenades. 3 separate templates of the different sizes (1", 2", 3") would do the same job, but we find this more convenient

2: Flamer Template from 40k, ones of the same size can be found in most editions of Warhammer and 40k and are also sold in packs with other GW templates

3: This is the 'Stream Weapon' template from Starship Troopers. We use it for the 'area of effect' of buckshot (scatter-shot) Shotgun rounds. it is 12" long and 2" wide
