I'm looking at old posts as I work the night away.
What have I finished over the past 6 years? I've painted some of my Dwarf army still at least 40 models to paint. All under coated at least. Stripped off and under coated my nids. Became a GM or DM for my students in the Czech Republic when I was a teacher. Painted loads of fantasy models and built a mortis quest dungeon with the help from my friends and Billiam Babble designing them in the first place. Got my godson into painting fantasy models. Still have an unmade bainblade to build and paint. So guys and gals what have you completed since joining the forum?

That's an impressive "tick list" you've done there Mark
![]() I only joined at the end of August, so haven't completed anything yet, unless you count the first playtest of my dungeon crawl house rules while we've been away on tour! I put together a "travel tin"...... ![]() containing a "dice tube" (consuming the contents was a chore - but worth the effort ![]() ![]() we had 5 days touring in the van, but the little worktop saw plenty of action with the portable test kit, and the kick-start of my solo campaign ![]()

HI Mate
What you have done is really good. When I was printing off my dungeon my ink was running out, so I coloured my dungeon in. It was strangely enjoyable and made the dungeon more me. Colouring bricks that could lead to hidden treasures or booby trap. Sadly my stuff is in CZ at the moment but I'm hoping to pop over soon to get it. I like the cardboard charters, I will have to do this to make my dungeon more travel friendly. Thank you for your reply Mark

That's quite a question there Mark - the answer is “perhaps less than I'd have liked to”.
Anyone can of course browse through painting and modelling sections (mostly the fantasy one) and see quite a lot of the miniatures I've finished since the forum was created way back in August 2008 (when in fact me and Mark were sharing a house in Warminster back then). But I think perhaps to get a clearer picture I shall show you all … well … a picture (or 4) ![]() These picture were taken a few days after moving into Mark's house (so not long before the Forum was created), what you are seeing is the back-log of miniatures that I had the time that where ready to paint (plenty more remained still unassembled). Since then I've been crossing off miniatures in those photos that I've got painted - at this point it's worth mentioning 3 facts: 1 - I have since the photos were taken brought more miniatures, 2 - I have painted more miniatures than are crossed off in the photos because many of the miniatures I've painted since taking the photos were purchased since taking the photos and 3 I haven’t painted all the miniatures I've got since the photos were taken - Thus the backlog has grown So to sum up I've painted a lot of miniatures in the last 6 years, but that's only a fraction of the miniatures I haven’t painted.

Thanks Mark
![]() As much as I'm looking forward to gaming in a 3D environment with painted figures, it also proved how much fun you can have with simple card cut-outs ![]() As for that never-ending lead (and plastic) pile Mortis, it just goes with the territory doesn't it?? ![]() I've never met a gamer yet who finally painted every figure they had, just the same as model railways that are "never finished" ~ and I have a foot in both camps ![]() ![]() The garden railway and working as an itinerant musician are the reasons I'm a bit slow getting stuff on here, but thanks to the wealth of inspiration on the forum the pace is picking up a bit now ![]()
