I tend not to post images of my painted miniatures....as I'm never happy with the results. This is due to two reasons a shit camera, and a shit photographer (me). However here are some photo's of my warriors, before my camera ran out of charge.

Elf Ranger

Elf Wardancer

Warrior Priest

Imperial Noble

Will post more soon

Mind... Blown...

Your work is amazing! Very clean and crips! I love the spider legs. And the skeleton shields: those are decals, right? If not: omg. How?
That is an amazing collection of figures too. Did it take long to collect them?

Re: Warhammer Quest Miniatures

Thanks all.

It's an accumulation over 25 years, as I got all of the WHQ miniatures when it was first released. I've had many more miniatures over the years but as my painting progressed they were either stripped if metal, or thrown away if plastic.

Only when my painting got to the stage I was happy with I kept the miniatures. Others I have sold on eBay a lot of my LOTR stuff went that way. I'm a fussy painter and either have to be in the zone or don't paint. Hence I don't paint very fast.

At the moment with work and my 18month old son I'm too exhausted to concentrate on painting and don't have much time. The last mini I painted was Gubbinz about 10 months ago.....hoping to get back into it soon.

Especially now I have Reaper Bones arrived, and got on the Mantic Deadzone KS. A lot of my bones will be going on eBay, but a few of the monsters will be joining the group at some point.

I also don't play with unpainted miniatures so some have yet to be released from their packets after 20 years.

I'd still like to know how you did the skeleton shields :P

Also, a little promotion of your WHQ blog here: http://yeoldeinn-heroquest.blogspot.nl/2013/08/warhammer-quest-resources.html

All official WHQ stuff plus addons can be downloaded from my DropBox. If you need an account, create it via this link, and I'll also get more storage room. Enjoy :)

Re: Warhammer Quest Miniatures

The skeleton shields where just transfers to be honest.

My freehand isn't that good. The majority of the skeleton warriors were painted over 15 years ago, they are the orginal GW plastic skeletons. Only the archers, champion and musician were from the old vampire counts skeleton range.

I also have 4 skeleton horsemen and a standard bearer.

Thanks for promiting the site.
