"Truescale" Sternguard Veterans - WIP

I got some SuperStrip from Phoenix Precision Paints recently and, wanting to test its claim to be able to strip paint off plastic miniatures without damaging them, I decided to have a go at a supply of old Space Hulk (2nd Edition) plastic terminators.  Delighted with the results (and discovering that the original owner had not glued them together except with paint) I took them apart and felt moved to do something new with them.

They're actually a bit further on from this.  I shall do some work on them this afternoon, I think, once I've started painting that Harlequin.

I'm going to use a darker blue paint scheme for them from the "codex" scheme.   Note the RTB-01 bolter.

EDIT- Why is that image not working for me?  Can anyone else see it?  If not, here's a link:

looking great dude, you gonna add studs to the shoulderpads and legs to finish the look?

Possibly studs on the left shoulder pad, but they aren't supposed to be wearing any particular mark of armour.  Ultramarines mostly wore Mk3 "Iron" armour and Mk4 "Maximus" armour, anyway, as they weren't sufficiently affected by the Heresy to need to wear the Mk5 "Heresy" pattern.

Yeah they look pretty cool. I've seen some really nice truescaled marines done from terminators acutally, not how I'd do it though.

What this chappy:

He's ok I guess, the studs are rubbish though, and he's badly painted. I'm quite pleased with him other than that though.

Added the fifth man.  I've also put the sgt on in profile so you can see the heraldry that they're all getting.

No studs, I realized, because they all have Terminator Honours on their left shoulders.
