This post was updated on .
Here finished at last is my full write up of my 'Into the Sewers' adventure now under the title Trouble beneath Balfunheim
the adventure is for both HeroQuest and Advanced HeroQuest and could easily be adapted for Warhammer Quest and other games, even WFRP with a little work

Very nice Mort! I laughed at the Monty Pyhton reference (about the witch) I presume you put in the story
A little typo: ...there was [a] terrible and unnatural storm over Balfunheim. A black cloud...
Had to read that twice to see what was wrong there
and Area F: ...for traps loses 1 body point...
Ladders: ...drop on them through the grill...

Also the Megga and Herts people (Megahertz?), sounds like some metal band, am I right?
I wonder what's next! How does Bob make so much money? Why do the townspeople think Rosanna is a witch?

Also could you post that issue of White Dwarf #134? I could use the Rat Ogre info, and extra quests are always welcome!

Great work! If you need a HeroQuest cover for your booklet in this style, let me know ;)

Yea I like to get my little references and homages in when I can, well spotted

I think either Ye Olde Inn or Phoenix's HeroQuest website has a PDF of all the HQ and AHQ stuff from WD 134 (I'll need to go and look) if I you find it anywhere I'll see about uploading it here - The AHQ adventure was called 'The Troll Slayer's Oath' (this is the same issue that contained the HQ adventure 'The Halls of Durrag-Dol')

Initially I hadn't done a cover for Trouble beneath Balfunheim to keep the file size down, but it turned out a lot smaller than I thought - I might get round to doing one of my own some time later, but your welcome to do your own version - I think the following image would work well

What comes next? Well that's up to the GM who run it really - in the original campaign this was written for we spent the next session role-playing a witch-trial in the town square, where the Heroes had to present what evidence they could of the existence of Skaven and save Rosanna from Johan Stein and Mattus Hoopenkien, the local Witch Hunters ...

Well, All I have from those sites is the Durrag Dol quest, in Phoenix's format, and the original WD scans, but not the entire WD issue.

I see. Well, perhaps you could give us some details about the mysteries from your quest, and I might be able to come up with a story that could fit on the HQ board, or perhaps on the Town map. (Or maybe you already have some ideas?)

Madame M
I would point out that any spelling mistakes noticed in the first version were probably my fault - though I'm sure I proof read it. Obviously not very well.....oops. Sorry bout that.
