The Department - anyone else as interested as me?

TSINI
Stumbled across this game being pitched for development.

The setting is just excellent, as close to bladerunner as you're gonna get.

Ruleswise this is very much a campaign based game, where the early missions allow you to interrogate suspects or find clues which will lead to a higher profile arrest/bust.

I'm also interested in this being effectively 3 games in 1, a co-op crime novel, a straight up cops and robbers shootout against a human opponent, and an rpg.

I'm wary that the game is currently asking for a fairly hefty startup amount of money, $3800. So I figured any advertisement might help the game get some recognition because I for one would love to see this game make it to printed format.

What do you guys think?

Swiftblade
Read through it, especially the sample play. Not my sort of thing, can't see where the fun or excitement is.

Still, each to our own.

I'll keep an eye on this - I've always thought Blade Runner would make for a good RPG, plenty of opportunity for interesting roleplay situations like trying to figure out if someone is a replicant, plus the chance of street fighting and shoot-outs
