As you can see I've been busy again.
I bought this at the Scale model world show at Telford on the 12th.
Forgeworld had a large stand and I'd been tempted for ages so I gave in and bought it.
I painted it in Tamiya colours with my airbrush and spent quite a long time weathering it to get it to look right.
The banner is a mash of sprayed paper, self adheasive strip and odd decals, I don't know if Krieg have a 14th armoured division, but in my wold they do now.
Wow that looks awesome. I'm not normally a fan of the plastic baneblade chassis as it looks way to toy like and very unrealistic (IMHO) but that looks awesome. Great camo job and weathering. How well did the FW conversion kit fit with the plastic hull?
love it love it LOVE IT! in particular the cammo and the heavy stubber. great looking model. iv been toying with a baneblade for ages but never been able to justify it to myself... seeing yours i think i might just have to make one happen! nice one x
Cheers for the comments guys.
To be hones I've got to say that the new baneblade is MASSIVELY overdone and I agree it does look far too toylike, but it does build up nicely and it does fit with the conversion kit pretty well.
I did need to deal with some warping issues, but that was dealt with pretty well with some hot water.
I chose to carve off all the excess symbols on the tank, it just wouldn't fit with the Krieg look.
I kept the shrine on the back, its rather nicely moulded, but that was about the only part.
I want to die in my sleep, like my dad.
Not screaming in terror like his passengers
