"fifteen seconds to target... five... <loud impact noise> <sound of doors opening, boots on concrete and several bursts of las-fire> ...target down... room clear... <vehicle reversing sounds, falling debris> ...put a charge on that door... <explosion, several more las-volleys> ...corridor, four meters long- switch to night vision... <several clicks and sound of night vision equipment powering up> move up... door... break it down <audible crack of breaking door, sound of grenades rolling on the floor... muffled shouts, several low concussions, protracted sound of las fire> This is DeepEyes Three Skull Six, enemy command centre neutralised, squad withdrawing..."
Transcript of assault on Traitor Command Post Alpha-84

So, this is a Repressor kit from the Sisters of Battle range from Forgeworld. I had been given a Rhino by a friend, so i decided to get this kit as I have always liked it. I researched this online (as you do) and many sites and blogs claimed the fit was terrible. I can tell you right now the fit is PERFECT. I was very impressed.

as the Repressor can be used by storm troopers it has been issued to the DeepEyes team.

the turret and cuppola have been (by me) not glued in place, so I can swap them over. I havent decided which is the best place for the turret or the flamer yet!

its got some FW rust effect on the dozer, which i have intentionally shitted up while the rest of the vehicle is kept clean. I assumed Storm Troopers look after their vehicles better than the normal rank and file. i think in honenty I might have overdone the dozer blade tho

That's awesome :3
I always appreciate the little stories you write in for these tanks, too.

well to me they are much more then just "guardsmen"- each tank an squad have a feel and look and a bit of a story- it makes me happy- I'm glad you like them all too!

shitted up is tame... even though i am trying ease back on the effing and cunting for Mortis' sake... he has a delicate ear!

its very VERY rare i post a model without a bit of story- in fact this one is about the shortest I have done!

glad you like it!

I've never been particularly keen that style of bulldozer blade, but the rest of this look great - despite being a Sisters of Battle vehicle, your distinctive colour scheme and the lack of any 'sisters' symbols means it doesn't look out place in your army at all. The more hi-tech look of the rhino hull (in comparison to IG tanks) makes it an ideal choice for an elite troop transport.

Great work as always

i actually like the dozer blade on this: its not really for rough terrain, its for plowing through crowds of people who don't know what time it is- crowd control GRIMDARK style!!! and for that it looks ideal.

it is a sort-of codex legal transport for Storm Troopers... TECHNICALLY it can only be used for Inquisitorial ST's but it is logical for normal ones to have it and most people will agree.

i hope!

the rhino IS quite advanced compared to normal IG vehicles, but the extra superstructure sort of dumbs it down. i HAVE to say again the kit is wonderful. no complaints at all for fit or flash etc.
