PROJECT: Gunnery Sergeant "Ren" Renard

the wadi was criss-crossed with las beams and the crack of shootas. the platoon of guardsmen were well dug in and supplied, but the Orks just kept on comming. the nominal "Rainy Season" on Snakefish was comming to an end, so any water source at all would be very valuable in the next few months. The officer in charge of the besiged platoon had vox'ed for aid some hours ago, and if help didn't come soon, his small DROPS depot and wadi would soon be overrun.

Suddenly the roar of jet engines filled the sky. three valkyries landed behind the Ork mob, while the huge black shape of the Black Vulture hovered above and poured hundreds of rounds into them. The defenders heard the whoosh of flame throwers and the low boom of shotgun rounds over the screams of the Orks. Underlying the whole soundscape was the thud of a heavy bolter, firing in short bursts. Gunnery Sergeant Ren Renard had led the assault, firing his huge Heavy Bolter from the hip, as a weaker man might fire a rifle. the Orks scattered with yells and curses, chased by accurate fire from the Imperial Forces.

well, this is a bit of a fun model that came together really well. a "counts as" Sergeant Harker from the IG codex, this guy uses the Cadian tank commander legs, catachan torso, the space marine scout bolter and the lower portion of the scout arms, the upper section of the catachan arms and the cadian sergeant head.

on the whole this model went together awesome, but in hindsight i COULD have done a slightly better job with the left hand im happy with it, but it could be better.
