"Trooper 3rd Class Quincey Betal. you are charged with deriliction of duty in that five nights ago you were charged with manning ADS LS-Zebra. you were ordered to sweep compass bearing sector 040 to 090 degrees. In fact you misread your compass and swept 240 to 280 degrees. for the duration of the battle you swept an empty area, reporting regularly "No Enemy in Sight".
was it not for the supply hut behind you exploding, you would have continued your error throught the attack. When relieved by a superior officer who explained your error you apparently replied "Yeah sorry sir, I'm as thick as fucking mince, me!"
your incomptence ended in several key areas of the Rockery being damaged by enemy air fire. However, I am inclined to be lenient as you are 32 years old, still a third class trooper and was placed on search-light duty due to you being judged unsafe to be around firearms. Your statement to the officer of the day appears to be correct."

this is a nice little quick conversion using the Chimera spotlight, which is IDENTICAL to the sabre one but a third of the price.
the head is from the metal veteran heads sold by GW. the back story comes from the model looking really like he is "as thick as mince". this is the moment Quincey realises the battle is behind him.
the spotlight lens is white, washed with blue wash, then gloss varnish.
