Another Rogue Trader-era mini.

This time an Ork Boss.

Although orks didn't have klans at the time you can see the beginnings of Goffs and Blood Axes in the design.
This fellow sports a power axe, a bolt pistol and Flak/Carapace armour.
Also, a fancy cap.

I've got a few similar style Rogue Trader era Orks myself, they make for great Blood Axe Klan Orkz - one of my favorite incarnations of Orcs/Orkz

Toughy-facisty.
I think like Mortis I may have some older Orc generals (or one with a hat like that and a rocket pack - Ork boyz?) - unpainted too! (although perhaps they're more 2nd ed. WH40K) - I picked up a whole load of Orkz in a sale between editions. Maybe I should root them out and distribute to the highest bidder. ;)

Come to think of it, I have a box of old RT-orks.
Maybe I should paint some of them too.
