when do you say "ive gone too far"?
i did a very rough point cost on my dark angels today with the unfinisted bits & no HQ 22500ist
my first IG army is somewhere around 5000pts
my other 1 most be around 2-2500pts
& 2000pts eldar army
imp navy at 1500pts
& as for thr titans          
thats coming upto 40000pts
so my question is have i gone over the top?

If you love the game, then no. I used to sit back and have alsorts of Armies in boxes and bits for future model conversions.
Then I think of all the money I have wasted on boose.

You can game and game again and have multply happy good times, But you can only drink the same pint once.

More games and less boose.

I think that's not a problem, collecting is one of the side of the hobby, you evidently prefer this part! It's a good thing!
A problem could be that's quite impossible use an entire army of 30000pts in a single mach againt a single challenger (except for some special event)!
