Excellent paint jobs there!

What kind of reference materials did you use for the colour schemes?

I particularity like the way you've painted the bases to match parts of the board

Thanks a lot!
Concerning the heroes, I use colours that recall the pictures on the character sheets, but actually I didn't use any real reference materials, I tried to use schemas that create a "vintage look and feel".
I thought, for example, that "green & red" + "black & white" of the orcs (at least to me) remember the old GW drawings.
Except for the chaos sorcerer, I see it on the web! :D
