My Shop

I thought I would share some pics of my workspace. I always like to know how everyone works on there stuff. Some can cram into a little space, others like myself need more room to spread our junk around......

Here is the front peg board, where my workbench is located. my workbench is 4" x 8" so it's hard to hang tools directly in front of the workbench, as I would have to lean over whatever I'm working on to get something. I have all my bits boxes here as well. I find that it helps with  detailing , to keep all your bits together, as you never know what will work, on any given project. I store all my glues upside down, as I get a little manic when I'm building and hate to wait for glue to drip down.

Here is a side peg board, with more tools

Here's my shelf with my radio, because you can't create without some good music.

Finally here is my Miniature paint station, where I paint miniatures

Not to be confused with my painting corner, where I emotionally vomit from time to time :)

Hope you like....

Re: My Shop

Ah, now this is an awesome idea for a post, I’ll have to take some pictures of my work-space.

That’s an impressive bit of space you have there! I like that nearly everything is customised in some way, even the peg-boards

Very impressive but do I detect a contradiction...........................the idea of an 'organised' Free Spirit? My work area is more  boring but at the same time 'chaotic'.I was going to get a sign made "If you have not got time to put your tools away, will you have time to find them when you need them?".
