Having been (dire) badgered, long enough here is another of my finished miniatures. This is my knight, Talana.

Another Reaper miniature when this one arrived we were a bit shocked by her height as she was meant to be a human paldin. We decided to make her an elf to explain the height and allow her to be in scale. The sculpting is by the amazingly talented Werner Klocke and is beautiful, all her amour is embossed and her face is charming.

She was relatively simple to paint being mostly plate amour, which got a coat of Boltgun Metal, then Chainmail, Mithrill Silver was the top highlight. Amour wash over the top was enough to bring out the detail. To make her blend in with the rest of my elves I painted the cloth in Dark Angels Green.

She is huge fun to play and I do enjoy rolling that armour save!!

I likes it - great work :)
Id like to say that it´s also nice to see a female fighter figure that actually is wearing armor, proper armor as well - no oversized shoulderpads, bared stomach - and all that crap the industry thinks us gamers need.

cheers, thats another reason i like her too! Proper amour and she's completly covered. Although i do have some mini's almost her polar opposite! For example see my next post...
