Gave me an idea.

Aside from being objectives for my Zombies game, I wonder if they might serve as a mission basis in Space Crusade?
Something like lost colonists, or important individuals, captured by chaos/ orks etc etc.

"My wife and daughter were stolen by cultists in the night in a plot to subjugate this world.. Please Astartes, save them and keep the peace of this world!"
They could arrive via blank blips, or perhaps we could find some fancy token for them.
I'm sure Mortis has models that could go along with them so there'd be more than two.
Hell, perhaps others from my hasslefree collection could go alongside them, if modern-looking guns were allowed an actual use! [even if a simple 1W dice]

How about somthing like the 2nd Aliens film but with a 40k twist?

The adeptus whatever-latin-ish have lost contact with a distant imperial colony ... yadda yadda ... Alien-Chaos-Trator-Bastard activity detected in the area ... Bla Bla ... send in the Space Marines to rescue them!

The Primary Misson would be to find the Colonists (uncover their blips) and get them back to the landing craft safely

Colonists Stats would be something like:
Move:8, Amour 0, Close Combat 1W

So you'd need to keep your marines with the Colonists to get them to your entry/exit safely

Colonists can't use Orders, but I might give the Colonists Dive Prone, like Scouts have and maybe 50/50 roll that the Colonist you find is armed with a stub gun or something (2W with limited range)
