It is rather an exciting development, maybe we'll see them do some minis more suited to small skirmishes as well as large armies. Quite like that they've gone for an unusual mix of Undead vs Dwarves, I'm sure the story makes that make sense

For the record: the day you created this post I was exactly posting the same thing, you defeat me by a hair! The same thing happened with the reply of Mortis!

I'm very glad Mantic is producing a dungeon game, these guys are really doing a good job! The second thing I think is that I really hope they will separately sell the booklet of the rules, or even better, they will allow the free download from their site! The rules are the only thing I really wish to read / have.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but has anyone seen downloadable copies of the game rules and tiles for this? I've got the mini's from the Morgoth's Revenge kit, so I was wondering if I could also try my hand at this game, to see how it works.

From what I've read it looks more like a Dungeon Skirmish (PVP teams) rather than a team effort or solo Dungeon Crawler.  Can anyone tell me of this is so...?

I've sent off for the "Dungeon Monsters" boxset in any case so I can have a sample of their minis...

Yea it's more of a 'dungeon strategy' game than a true dungeon crawler - still it's a great game and full of nice Mantic figures.

With a little work the rules could be turned toward a more classic Players Character and Dungeon Master based game

I have ordered DKH from Mantic so I'll see if I can get a few games going with buddies.  Hopefully some amusing battle reports to come...

Well I've ran through one scenario to get the hang of it and it's a nice little game.  Contrary to many other game reports I've read the Dwarves absolutely demolished the Undead.  One Dwarf bit the dust and another got injured but they wiped out all the skeletons and got the tomb-objective.  Only a couple of action tokens left though so a bad roll or two could have ruined their day...
