RE: Into the Sewers

I think there is a lot of wasted space on this board. With the help of "Paint" I have added some extra rooms, as marked. What do you think?

Allright. Posted them. If you know of more maps in Dragon magazines, let me know. Don't have the time to browse through them all :P

Personally I quite like the original map, but feel free to alter it for your own needs, if you want a few more rooms in your version that's up to you

I would point out though, that HeroQuest maps never use all of the rooms on the board in one adventure

No, you are right of course about HQ not using all the rooms in any one quest. However, I feel that after a couple of adventures using the limited number of rooms on such an interesting board, extra rooms will add a little uncertainty to the game. Have you any plans for more quests with the board?

At the moment I'm working on a re-write of the quest posted here incorporating some of more interesting elements discussed in the thread. But otherwise I have no further plans centred around this map - the trouble being it's not a very flexible map.
The Cavern Tiles (posted Here) however are a lot more inspiring and I might write something based around them

BTW do you have any adventure ideas or complete quests you could post?

"the trouble being it's not a very flexible map".  My point exactly! in adding those extra rooms. No worries we will agree to differ!
Well, do you have access to you Ye Olde Inn HQ site? I have a thread on there entitled Kens Saturday Day Dungeon. You are welcome to take a look at that. Most of my recent quests have involved The Rescue of Sir Ragnar. Sadly, he was killed in his return to Provins, the Citadel where he was incarcerated in the HQ Quest. We have played thro' 9 1/2 quests on this theme, still 1/2 to go. Fundamentally, some Orcs robbed his Tomb, ground up his bones, and did unspeakable things with the grindings. (I find you need a Sense of Humour in this game).  No doubt, his Spirit will return, to haunt Our Heroes. Most of my quest are done in pencil, using a blank HQ sheet. Takes too long to use Heroscribe, me being Mr Green. At present, working on the Sewer scheme, plus Boris Bloodnocker, Goblin Mayor; and Invasion of the Body Snatchers, using those Troglodytes. Regards Ken

have you mentioned us here at The Lost and The Damned Forum over there at Ye Olde Inn yet?

Thanks for your kind words, you have to remember, across the table is usually sitting my young grandson. So, I have to keep things fairly light, which suits me well! Is it OK for me to mention this Sewer Board? I am sure some of the Olde Inn boys would be interested!!

Of course! I approve of anything that will bring wider awareness of The Lost and The Damned Forum  plus I think a lot of members of The Olde Inn will also enjoy our forum here

That would be awesome

You can post as many pictures as you like here on The Lost and The Damned Forum and they will stay up indefinitely

What I will ask you to do is start a new thread for it though
