May i be the first to say:
CONGRATULATIONS! Like almost everyone i have been following this thread, but having nothing to contribute i haven't joined in yet. But the knowledge that you have finished the first pack must be an amazing feeling. therefore, i toast you mr babble! Genius. *bows out, to the sound of rapturous applause* |
Yay. Thanks, Talsin.
I seem to be without grog , which is good because tomorrow's a work day. |

My word... Well done sir!
It looks absolutely beautiful Remember to make sure that people know that this awesome product is out there. Peddle yourself shamelessly! Anyways I hope it does as well as it deserves. Good luck! (ps- Considered getting it printed? I'm sure independent game stores would stock it, especially if there was a range of expansions etc..) |

Once you get into those onebookshelf databases you end up in all sort of lists. I was giggling at being 95 in the 100 hottest items on one site. |

I'm printing a copy to photo-paper right at the moment and thinking to myself "crikey, I can barely afford the paper or cartridges to print my own copies!" At some point it might be worth me chatting to a printers' just to see how much a short run would be (for one project at least), but then there's storage and distribution as well. I have a friend who is an esoteric book publisher and he literally has rooms filled with shiny unsold paperbacks. Also there's the dilemma of multiple pages for certain sheets. - oops phone just rang ... hold that thought ... One idea was to sell a few sheets on card with a CD-ROM. This could also be posted out (I could even sell them on Ebay! - where the vintage market is at it's mightiest!) I'm a little behind on the times, but I've also discovered that there's these printer type things which cut out shapes, like for decoupage ... perhaps more on this in a different thread ... Hey, here's thumbnail preview sheet of all the pages in the Basic Pack: |
How many skulls for the Throne of Khourne?
I was concerned the other night that I had discovered my "inner Goth" Wall details for my new Tombs/Crypts set -pre-colour - it's not all going to be like this - these are for the older "catacomb" area. |
On the One Monk Forum / Card Board Warriors forum a chap called Sammo has been constructing some massive levels Notice what he's been doing with those curved sections. :) See also: Samo's other pics on my thread at Cardboard Warriors. |

An in-progress teaser ... |
Okay another one ...
This is part of the rough layout for the main sections of the crypt: |
Some more photos of test pieces from the new Tombs' pack:
I'm enjoying the versatility of the Alcove Room when corridors are added. Also, silly receipt doodles ... |

3D tombs?
Statue stand ups? show us more!

Okay. I've given in. The new tombs set will actually include a 3-D reversible tomb and dais, along with a reversible coffin. The tomb may also double as a stand-up sarcophagus.
Pre-colour work: The plinth-dais-tomb-base should be two "squares" - 2 in long appx. I have trouble printing to exact scale from jpgs. I refuse to include any objects more complex than a cube in this pack, before anyone starts suggesting statues, and so on. ;) |
Un-weighted paper assemblage test
(with short DnD chill zombie) (photos via phone - please ignore the scotch tape - life is just too short tonight ...) |

Awesome! back on the 3D stuff again!
could I request a slightly larger ornate tomb that would sit comfortably in a 2x3 squares area?

Thanks. I finally "folded". Geddit?
(I'll get me coat) The coffin looks good as well. Right at the moment I'm under some pressure to finish the rest of the pack*, but maybe I can do a large tomb at a later date, just for you or as a separate page/pack for pennies. *Not so much "pressure", as a handful of Cardboard Warrior forum members demanding that they have the opportunity to buy another set. :o Naturally, I've told them that the pack will be "too perfect" to be shared with the world - I shall hoard it for myself forever, mwhahahaha. I can't remember where you said it, but you mentioned something about using the thin walls ... ah yes, the HQ advert thread - excellent, mail me when you want. :) |

Silly real life stuff and day job are really getting the way of productivity atm! (Although, I'm finding blogging remarkably easy, because I only have to type and post links.) Here's some uncoloured decrepid corridors bits for the new Tombs pack (above). Maybe I should just sell them on rustic parchment, like this? ;) |
