And all that.

I had a spare plastic carnifex, was googling random shit and found some nice conversions. One idea in particular made me want to dig out the knives.

Blah blah, nonsense about preparation..

I wanted a slightly creepier look, so large, dangling forelimbs were the way forward. Large, serrated blades like a mantis.
Those parts came from.. Some other kit. I got the bits separate for my "this shit looks bad ass" pile.

Got some way to go. Once the putty is set I'll start on the digestion sacs hanging from his sides with many more additional tentacles (Which I detailed for his head by rolling them over coarse sandpaper.)

I SHOULD be focusing on a commission piece but the longer I dwell on it the more I want to stick up middle fingers!

Are you inventing a new monster here or is this based on some new Tyranid creature I'm not aware of?

The first pictures are a slightly converted carnifex, the last (painted) shot is the FW model, image found on google.

I've sculpted very little on this current model.
