Hi everyone,

My name is Rod, and I am a gamer. Having lurked for a while and posted on a few threads, I thought I had better introduce myself.

I have been roleplaying and wargaming for the last twenty-some years. Mostly fantasy - I started in AD&D before being roped into Warhammer Fantasy back when it was still (a) good and (b) cheap, but I am now discovering the joys of the Old School Renaissance and Kings of War. I was introduced to LARP while at university, and am still recovering. I also collect historical minis (but don't play at the moment) and am currently running a sporadic Call of Cthulhu game set in Victorian Bath.

In my day job I am an archaeologist for Bath & North East Somerset Council, which gives me access to all sorts of historical maps and has helped me to cultivate a (less than) healthy obsession with medieval knightly orders...
