I need some ideas thrown at me. [Dreadnought, CCW needed]

I have me a Black Reach dreadnought.

I need me a decent CCW replacement.

Simply put, it's going to be a Chaos conversion, and I cannot pick between the myriad of ideas swimming in my mind.

A part of me wants to recreate this;

Which, it must be said, is now belonging to a FAR more attractive Dread.
Andshouldnothavebeenmadeoutofbalsawood.

On the other hand, I'm tempted to go for more along the lines of this;

But I watched Starship Troopers again lately and I'm thinking about some kind of mechanical talon/ scythe.
Or, chain flails, pneumatic hammer/ fist, drills, saws etc etc

I'd make one of each, but I don't have the patience to scratch-build new shoulders to mount them on.

Perhaps some kind of bio-mechanical claw, sort of Daemonically possessed.

Annoyingly scattered post aside, I just need ideas to try and make a decision easier.

How about mate
Make one shoulder with inter changeable arms, i have used mini magnets on my inquistitor in term armour.

see, the claw is cool but its a bit "orky". you COULD turn this to your favour and say he ripped it off a killer kan in a roid rage!

what about something like the plague cencer from the skaven bell kit?

or some stuff from the rat ogres?

Dear god that ball would look good on him..

I had considered something similar, Mark. Though a lack of magnets would have me stuck with pins instead.

but that still leaves me with the little issue of picking.. At least two. One for each secondary gun option :3

Hmm, I am thinking of a double-bladed disc saw with a flamer mounted between the blades :3
