Hi Guys
I was wondering how much we really spend on our hobby per year. For the last two years i have spent about £50 per year on models but over £100 on yes GW novels per year. In my army days in the 90's it was probably £1000 per year. And yes mainly GW stuff. M

Last year, a lot. I had money from work at last and spent £150+ on Hasslefree.
I spent about.. I dunno, maybe £50 on second-hand GW in the form of Tyranids.

Boy... a lot I'm sure...
Haven't been into minis for that long, but just some things I remember: - HeroQuest game €35,- - D&D boardgame €15,- - Mantic Mhorgoth's Revenge €39,- - Ogre Battallion secondhand unpainted €42,- - Some extra Ogre bodies €10,- - Skaven Clanrats €19,- - LotR rangers €17,- - LotR Troll €12,- - DragonStrike game... I think it was about €25,- - Reaper Bones KS... whew, $383,- and there will be taxes on top of that... - Zombicide (although I consider that a seperate game, not mixing with my fantasy hobby) $550,- no taxes. - Night Goblins €13,- - Paints and brushes and such... around €100,- - Some milliput, instantmold, extra bases, some loose models from GameZone etc. probably around €100,- - Chibi dungeon adventurers KS $278,- plus taxes. - MYTH boardgame $141,- no taxes. - Just now: Itar's Workshop hirst-arts resin dungeon tiles + accessories. $210 (about €210 including taxes and handling) So what I can remember of the last 2 years, that would make about €1387,- in total, excluding the Zombicide KS. That makes €695,- a year on average. Wow. But then again, when I receive them Bones, I'll probably simply be done for quite some time. I don't think i'll ever need more minis hahaha (untill I spot something new I really like :P)

When i first got into wargaming 40K 2nd ed i was very OCD. I lived and breathed GW stuff. Coming to think of it i was probably spending more than £1000 per year when i first got into it.

oh Mark, i feel your pain bro. i remember........ (Right, before i start i must explain, this habbet we/I have, i have stop/start thing going 4 times, first when i was 8-9 with citadel minis (pre-sloty stuff) until i was 13, then again at 18 with Epic lastly in my mid 20s with 40k 3ed. right thats done back to it) .......back then when i started my last attack of GWitus, i built 3 armies in 18 months, i'd think nothing of blowing £60 just on minis, (this was back when 10 SM was £10)

Yes mate these were the days. I have so many armies i don't really get the time to game with them anymore. I still have a dwarf army to build and paint (Mantic) and my nids from two of the old boxed sets i think 5ed to build and some secondhand stuff i need to paintstrip and repaint. With my reduction in buying models these last few years i'm slowly catching up for when money was no abject. Pre girlfriend days lol. Oh i nealy for got space hulk 3rd ed to do as well. AAARRRRRRRRR
