Hello

jazzbeaux
Just signed up, having found the site while looking for details on Triple Helix Wargames.  Seems like it is all happening in the local area after all.
I live in Trowbridge, have played WH40K since Rogue Trader and Warhammer since 3rd Edition.  Got a whole bunch of other games from Blood Bowl to Talisman via Tikal and Settlers of Catan.  Also play Vampire: The Eternal Struggle on a regular basis - well as regular as I can with a 15 month old son.
Will have to get back to painting figures one day, just about manage to cut and stick stuff together these days.

Sam

Welcome, Good to have you aboard Sam
maybe you'll meet me (or some of the others from my gaming group) at Triple Helix in the near future

Hi there Sam. Welcome to the abode of the Lost and Damned

A fellow Talismaner! Which version do you play? (I've got a review of the Fantasy Flight version brewing inside of me I can feel it  )

I've had my eye on Catan for a while now. Any good? We play Carcassonne around these parts and enjoy it mightily.

I have played 2nd Ed way back, but I own all of the new 4th Ed - The Highland has just arrived!

Settlers of Catan is very good, although it can suffer in comparison with newer games that have built on its original ideas.  It is an easy game to play, and available in various ways these days - Xbox Live I think?

Hello Jazzbeaux!

Believe me when I say that you are certainly not the only one here who feels guilt about unfinished projects/armies/paint jobs.

Welcome to the LOST and the DAMNED ... (mwhahaha etc. and so on)
