Giant Maggots

Very short post this time.

These Giant Maggots are Halloween decorations I based, primed with MP Black Primer and painted up with Citadel Kommando Khaki, heavily dry-brushed P3 Menoth White Base and washed with Citadel Ogryn Flesh and Citadel Devlan Mud. The bases were painted in the normal way I do bases (if you don't know how I do it, have a read of some of my other posts).

Halloween decorations like these are a nice cheap way of adding some vermin type creatures to your dungeon. You can also get Spiders, Ants, Beetles and many other creepy crawly types, so keep an eye out in toy shops, pound shops (dollar stores in the US) and the seasonal tat section of your local supermarket.

You know I was thinking of the giant maggots in The Green Death while I was painting these

Did you know the Doctor Who effects department apparently made the giant maggots from inflated condoms and fox jaw-bones?
