Fallout - FEV failure & Deathclaw

So... Lately I've not been able to sculpt much with the time I have.
Makes me sad.

But after seeing a certain image a few times, I had an idea and I needed to give it a go. (image after all of my photos)

Unlike what's listed in the Fallout 3 game files (The FEV Failure did have some stats made for it, it was as feeble as a baby) I wanted something specialised. Something usable by the Super Mutant army.
So, they're slow, lumbering beasts with absolutely no ability to use weapons beyond their own hands.
But they're savage, powerful monsters who will take hold of you and beat you against every surface until you're a bloody pulp. They make excellent guard dogs, blocking the routes into Super Mutant strongholds with their bulk.
Their sight is poor, their hearing is null and they can barely smell a thing, but once they're aware of an enemy, they make a sound that could wake the dead, drawing well-armed super mutants to their fight. If the enemy should overwhelm the Failure, they will only have a wall of guns to face down...

Combine Failures with Centaurs, and you'll find most Super Mutants holds incredibly hard to sneak into alive...

And now the tiny bit of work I have done on my Deathclaw...

He has a few fingers.

looking great!
thought about getting 'em to vinni for casting?

you could see the Failures as mid-range between Super Mutants and Behemoth?
instead of growing larger like the Overlords, like you say, more feral, dim monsters that need directing from their smarter brothers...

Re: Fallout - FEV failure & Deathclaw

Stat-wise I've got them somewhere around Brute/ Master range. It provides a creature I could lay down "early" in a campaign as a horrifying back-up monster for some basic super mutants, but it'd still be scary to fight at later levels because it'd be backed up by everything else.

As to Vinni... Nay. I wanna try this myself. c:

Looking awesome dude - love the mutant and all the work you've put into the Death Claw really shows
