Disturbed - Land of Confusion

As you may or may not know, back in 2006 Disturbed did a cover of Land of Confusion by Genesis. Disturbed's video for the song was animated by Todd McFarlane (the man behind Spawn). The first time I saw the video a few years back I noticed something ....

About 20 seconds or so into the video 3 tanks roll past and the second one is a Mk1 Rhino Variant called the Sabre Tank Hunter, it's only on the screen for a few seconds so it takes a keen (and nerdy) eye to spot it.





the Sabre Tank Hunter itself first appeared in White Dwarf 120



along with instructions by Tony Cottrell on how to build it from parts of a Rhino, a Landraider and some plasticard, supposedly it could be built use the spare parts left over after building a  Landraider Spartan.




also check out the awesome Scout Titants (made from Starwars AT-ST walker toys, Zoids and Legions of Power toy parts) that appeared along side the Sabre in WD120

Yes i didsee the music vid Axiel pointed it out to me. i started reading white Dwarf from 197 onwards and id started gaming about the same time too.

Yea, it's been a long time since the golden age when you'd see such things in WD ... sadly those days are long past
