A Big Lizard Creature, A Goblin and Pumpkin-head-thing walk into a dungeon ....

Ok here's some miniatures I painted fairly recently, took pictures of but didn't get round to posting ... until now

^ Restored Gorgaz Lizard from Citadel's old 'Giak Attack' Lone Wolf Box-set, now to get around to painting Sir Pelethor and all the little Giaks

^ Converted Citadel Plastic Goblin Fanatic

^ Unarmed Pumpkin 'ead from Ral Partha Europe, I bought this purely because it was such an odd miniature, it will probably find use as a Chaos Demon of some kind

^ Spiral Stairs and a Fire Place for my dungeon! from Scotia Grendel

Nice work Mortis, like what you've done with the fireplace. The Lizard looks a little flat but I think that's the photo more than the painting.

The blue goblin fanatic intrigues me, a new orc warband on the horizon?

Thanks dude, the fire place is nothing special though

flat?  I thought the picture showed the detail pretty well ... ah well

Yea the blue robed Night Goblin is kinda an experiment, I've done a couple of mid-90's plastic Goblin archers in a similar scheme too. I may do a few more but I'm not yet sure if blue works with Night Goblins or not, what do you think?

Yeah it looks pretty good. Quite different from black black and more black that night goblins normally get. A blue/green/yellow colour scheme should work, perhaps make the blue a hint darker.

I kike all these paintjobs! Specially for the colours of the goblin, I think the blue is a very good choise! Of course the dungeon pieces are great as usual (I saw the pics of the gameplay in the dungeon and I remember I was impressed to see so much details!)

Thanks I'm thinking of doing a few more Goblins with the blue robes since people seem to like them. I think I shall try a darker blue like Rob suggested.

I must, must, must get round to taking some pictures of the individual dungeon bits so I can show you all some of the works I've been doing

GORGAZ!!!

Aceness Maximus.

And what's this ...?

Scenery?  Oh man, I lubs proper scenery.
The spiral stair case is amazing - loving the mossy grass details.
A yummy visual feast.
(How come I missed this thread?)

Goblin fanatics and pumpkin heads are far too silly for me to comment on.  No matter how well painted.

Thanks dude
I hope to get the rest of the Giak Attack boxset restored and painted with a view to using the Giaks as Lesser Goblins

Superb painting on all of those figures & the scenery is very good too!I nearly bought some Ral Partha stuff in the 90's from a model shop in Croyden,London I paid a deposit of £20 but I should have become suspicious when they wanted me to pay in full-when I went back 2 weeks later the shop had been vacated with no forwarding address.Lesson learnt.Anyway I am getting distracted or inspired?-By exploring your site.I should be following up on leads you have provided for bases or back in 'the room'(not cyberspace)making & painting. So thanks for the distraction/inspiration!
