1/3000 Bismarck

Yes I'm going into yet another field of wargaming, its been a long time coming but I've finally succumbed to naval wargaming. Here's my first ship, one that everyone knows the Bismarck:

The model is originally by a company called Davco, mastered in 1977, now made by Skytrex. The sea is just crinkled up tin foil stuck on a plasticard base, with added bow wave and wake sculpted on in milliput. I've got a ton more ships, just German and British at the moment, I'll no doubt end up doing a load of Italian ships too at some point.

Well made mate, i like it.

I new someone once who scunched up some tin foil a little and then sprayed it black and used it as a back ground setting for his fish tanks, it realy gave a rocky background. I look forward to seeing more, well done M

Cheers Mark, I've got about 30 odd ships to paint in total, so be expecting to see a fair few in the near future.

I look forward too it, I love warships, It was A hard choice not to join the Navy but I joined the Army instead. Tanks, Landships. I really like space ships too. Game on. M
