here is a drinking game i just came up with while i was bored.

4 distinct rounds - take a sip when something regular happens

drink half your drink when something out of the ordinary happens

chug- very rare event

buy a round- never happen!

Take a sip when:

when- a photo of a heavy metal painters work space shows clearly humbrol and tamiya paints

there is a showcase of a golden demon somewhere in the world

there is a 40k article for any army

apocalypse is mentioned as being the best thing ever

space marines are given dissproportionate hype for a new release

yet ANOTHER gandalf mini is released, this time with his hat sat slightly to the left.

yet another gandalf mini is released, this time he is standing with his legs slightly apart

necromunda or mordenheim is mentioned since the start of 2009

some new model is released and "everyone at WD is very exited about it....."

a new army has been released and "everyone at WD have been collecting nothing else but for months...."

drink half your drink when:

ANY warhammer army has an article about it.

a price rise is dressed up as somehow a favour

a new realese army is in a battle report and looses

time to chug....

an alien 40k army has some fluff written about it that is written from its own perspective instead of the imperiums

Buy a round when:

an article by rick priestly mentions "squats"

an article shows how to convert a ww2 buffalo model into a rhino/chimera

a forge world blurb states "some of these models are a bit wonky and the quality control is wanky but on the plus side they cost three times more"

warhammer quest?

Here's a few of my own to add to the list ...

Take a sip when:

“there's never been a more exciting time to be editor of WD”

“there's never been a more exciting time to be getting into the hobby”

a new Spacemarine model is released that looks pretty much like existing ones aside from some minor details added

an Easterling model is released for LotR

there is a picture of a Forge World Warhound Titan

a photograph of Viggo Mortison as Aragorn appears on the front cover

a photograph of Viggo Mortison as Aragorn appears else where in WD

that picture of a crow sitting on a corpse appears in a LotR article

a picture a appears with of one of those new plastic gaming tables in it

there's a photograph with a fat person in it

existing models have been repackaged and put in the new releases section

drink half your drink when:

a Dwarf model is released for LotR

some thing is released that costs less than £5

a modeling or painting tip is useful

you see a stat-line and rules listed

time to chug....

A model on a regular base wins any prize in Golden Demon

a black person appears in a photograph

the Dark Eldar get a new release

there is more Warhammer Fantasy content than 40k

WFRP, Talisman, Warmaster, Space Crusade or HeroQuest are mentioned

Chaos Dwarfs are mentioned

Zoats or Fimir are mentioned

Buy a round when:

we here a The Lost and The Damned Forum are mentioned for our great services to the hobby

a black person has written an article for WD

The Rainbow warriors chapter is mentioned

a price is lowered

i liked the "lacking in diversity" issues....

i have noticed it before- its very rareanyone paints a black face on a mini. )yes i know the shading is harder). i do however remember an escher gang leader with green aviators that was black. won a golden demon i remember.

on the whole yours were miles better than mine!

Drink half your drink when:

A conversion features promenantly a part that is from a limited edition, OOP or otherwise difficult to obtain part.

A picture of the Horus vs Emperor scene is shown.

Down:

When the editor inserts a comment that is genuinely funny (probably work better with Paul Sawyer era mags)
