the new apoc models ....... running out of ideas?

right i got a popup from GW today about the 6th ed apoc models and i like the look of the necron thingy
but the chaos tank thingy ........ is it me or did they use the look before with epic?

Well, yea. The giant tank robot thing is just a revamped Epic model anyway.

I happen to like that they're dipping into Epic for things to add to the armies these days. Just look at the bitch-fits people kicked up on the internet when the Stormraven first came out. If that's the reception that an original design studio idea receives then, fuck, why bother putting in the effort to make something when it'll just be poo-poo'd by the community? So they'll just dig out the old stuff from the other games and add it in.

It seems you just can't please anyone in this hobby.

That's just the point though - they don't put in the effort that they used to and that's why the more discerning members of the gaming would aren't impressed ... meanwhile the fan boys will buy anything GW put outs (at any price) and insist it's great no matter what. GW simply have no incentive to make good miniatures anymore.
