I know about WD, but remember an important fact: the person who realised the rules of SC and its expansions was not the one who wrote the articles in WD.
Also, the rules in WD are incompletes (i.e. what's the value of a killed terminator?), that's why I prefer to consider as "canon rules" only those appeared in the basic game and its expansions.  :)
