Thanks for the great write-up and comparison of the Warhammer editions (and "3rd edtion was the last best chance for peaces.... NO No. That would have been Babalon 5" made me smile
)
For me, the playability of the rules PLUS the fact that they were still written for 'fantasy miniatures' and not specifically Games Workshop figures make them a gem.
Many thanks also for the pdf's (but I can't get the Siege rules to download - probably my broadband connection so I'll keep trying), they'll be very handy for printing off reference sheets etc
