Thanks Mark , I'll  post the results of that playtest asap ~ it gave me enough of a 'feel' for the direction I want to take the rules and generated an intro to the back-story to my campaign.
As much as I'm looking forward to gaming in a 3D environment with painted figures, it also proved how much fun you can have with simple card cut-outs

As for that never-ending lead (and plastic) pile Mortis, it just goes with the territory doesn't it??
I've never met a gamer yet who finally painted every figure they had, just the same as model railways that are "never finished" ~ and I have a foot in both camps


The garden railway and working as an itinerant musician are the reasons I'm a bit slow getting stuff on here, but thanks to the wealth of inspiration on the forum the pace is picking up a bit now
