Ahh, those early White Dwarf mag's - my throat is full of lump as I wipe away a tear of nostalgia from my (red-rimmed from driving back from tonight's gig) eyes!
Funnily enough, I had a similar pang a couple of evenings ago when I looked at the back page of my old AD&D DM's guide. "distributed by Games Workshop" and a list of "other games" stocked ........... now those were the days!  

Anyhow, thanks for the replies Q-O-L and M-T-L, as mentioned above I've just got back from a weekend away and dropped on here while I have a "wind down brew" - one of the great advantages of the forum over the old mag's - you don't have to wait a month for the next issue!
Good and valid points Mortis, and hopefully I can contribute something tomorrow. Even being away "working" hasn't stop progress
