More "thread necromancy" I'm afraid,

but I'd just like to echo the sentiments above - I've been a long time away from the hobby and can only thank THIS forum for getting me back into it (up to my neck at the moment, but enjoying every minute!)

Now, as much as I'm happy catching up and reading all the old posts, it seems to me that things are a little "quiet" around here at the moment........... or is that just the impression I'm getting from these prolific old posts?
Is the forum a 'seasonal' hang out (where folk gather on those long winter nights), or has the traffic generally declined a little? If so, is Facebook to blame?
I'm not a fan of Facebook, but have an account and will happily join in on there if that's where the action has migrated to - I just don't think the temporary nature of posts on Fb can match the forum format and I reckon it'd be a great shame and a sad loss if there's been a mass migration

Your thoughts and comments would be appreciated
