Hello!

Just wanted to introduce myself, as I'm an old player but new to the forum.

I've been playing WH40K since 3rd edition, WHFB since its 4th edition. In between I've played most of the Specialist games, though the one I always come back to is Mordheim (despite, or maybe because of, the fact that you need to house rule everything...)

After several years 'off the battle-wagon' I'm looking at getting back into 40K, and have been eyeing (sp?) up a Chaos Space Marine army; I've gotten well acquainted with The Bolter & Chainsword forums as part of the research I was doing before buying anything, so I know that it's likely going to be an uphill struggle making a competitive army without Heldrakes, but I'm going to give it a try.

I'm hoping to get some inspiration for alternative models for some of the units though, as I really dislike GWs Chaos Spawn models, and would like a healthy stock of Cultists with pistol/ CCWs that have more than two good poses...

Anyway. If I can get some pieces sorted out in the near future I'd like to share the beginnings of a Word Bearers warband with you, and get some feedback and tips on painting/ converting/ alternative model ideas.
