GW Shelob, painted in a different way...

Last year I bought a GW Shelob miniature for a ridiculous price (about 5€ ~ 4£), because of some missing pieces like pedipalps and one half abdomen, but I asked to myself: "What does messyart do in these situations?"
So I finally put my hands on this spider, I ignored the pedipalps and I re-sculpted only the missing part of the abdomen with DAS and green stuff:





The painting consists in:
1. Grey undercoat, followed by a Bleached Bone and then Skull White drybrushing;
2. Gryphonne Sepia washing followed by a Devlan Mud washing (only in certain parts);
3. I paintend dozens of small dots with different colors (Terracotta, Skull White, Bleached Bone, Scorched Brown). The pattern of the common Wolf Spider has inspired me;
4. In the end I painted the details (eyes, junctures, teeth) with inks / acrylics, and washed some little parts with a little bit of Badab black and drybrushed  some other parts with a little bit of Skull White;
5. I outlined the borders of any visible segment with Skull White;
6. Abundant transparent spray to protect the model;



As you can see I chose to don't add any base, this spider really don't need it!

Some time ago, I talked about some lost walls I've made to set up dungeon rooms during D&D sessions (in this topic). Well, I found them! , and I re-painted and improved them too. These pictures show both a fake in-game battle and these walls.
