Online discount stores like Maelstrom and so on lost a huge chunk of their business at the time of the GW Aus embargo, I'm surprised it took this long for Maelstrom to collapse.

I think this should serve as a lesson for the remaining online discount businesses - don't rely on GW products for the majority of your business, GW may some day create some way of taking away your ability to offer such discounts on their products (and you know they'd like to). So diversify, widen your market and do what you can to promote alternative wargaming - you can't rely on riding on GW's coat-tails forever, so take control of your market before it's too late!
