Hi everyone.

I'm gonna be honest, I hope you don't lynch me straight away, but I've always found people that do gaming to be quite scary and geeky. As you've probably guessed I've never been into gaming or painting. So you are probably wondering why I'm on this site now.

Well when I was a lad I did have one game that I loved playing and that was Space Crusade. Quite naively I never put it in the same bracket. Until recently I'd forgotten all about it. Then I decided to buy my childhood back. I then found this site with all of the adaptions and ideas for it (must admit I think its awesome work). and I've started to paint the figures (badly). I've now got interested in the backstory to SC and I'm addicted to the horus heresy now.

I'm embarassed to admit I still shy away from GW shops. but I'm quite tempted to try a 40k game (if i can get to grips with all the rules)

Anyway I hope I've not offended anyone, I'm willing to learn the errors of my ways, if you guys are willing to teach me.
