Ok, I you seem rather confused about this editions thing

There was only ever 1 edition of Space Crusade released
There were several Translations into different languages, but only ever 1 edition  

1st Edition Space Crusade was released in 1990 in Finnish, French, English and Dutch Translations (The Dutch version was the first to bare the name StarQuest)
Later in 1992 1st Edition Space Crusade was translated into Danish (Space Crusade), German (Starquest), Italian (Starquest), Spanish (Cruzada Estelar ) and Greek (Σταυροφορία στο Διάστημα)

All of these are 1st edition - there is no official 2nd or 3rd editions of Space Crusade

things that might have confused you are ...

The Prototype ...

 ^ This is a Picture of the Prototype from the Flyer that came in the Space Crusade and HeroQuest boxes. The artwork on the Cards and Cardboard components is different and the Miniatures are Metal Prototype Miniatures painted in the colours of the plastics

The prototype version can also be seen in the TV advert of Space Crusade ...

 ^ There are alternative versions of the box art, used on the Translated version's boxes and the Computer Game's box -- the 'original' art work appeared on the English version (both versions appeared as White Dwarf covers)
