yes it looks bad on paper if you put it like that, but consider this:
Dreadfleet is boxed game with 2 opposing sides and limited re-playability (not to mention limited release, no future and no expansions), Uncharted seas is a game system with a multitude of different factions to choose from which will be expanded and supported in future
In the Dreadfeet box you get 10 plastic ships of medium quality (5 per side), each of those Uncharted Seas boxed fleets contains around 7 high quality resin ships (with some metal parts?) plus you can build up your fleet ship-by-ship over time.
£15 is a fair price for Rulebook, especially one of Spartans nice full-colour rulebooks - how much are GW's core rulebooks at the moment? (how much are the army books and Codexes now even?)
