How did I get here...?

The digital Gods and Goddesses must have headed my call when I said I need to relieve my boredom.  The portal opened up and *bamph* here I am.  Not exactly what Google search string I cast to lead me to this forum of strange folks, but after looking around I am glad I found it.

I am 3D6 otherwise known as Dungeon Master...or just Martin.  I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons since I was 12 (roughly....20 years ago.)  Cut my teeth so to speak on 2nd edition rules, skipped 3 and 3.5 now working my way through understanding 4.  I am a dad now, and I am introducing it to my son, as my father did to me.
