I am agree, this conversion is really simple but incisive, great job!
As you know I like your paintjobs, so I will not add anything else.
I want to seize the opportunity to say something about my "Bases philosophy".
I really like the fact that your bases always have the same style. This thing makes your miniatures "homogeneous".
I think that the base of a miniature is very important, it must be clean, well painted and decorated but not too much.
A masterpiece could be totally ruined if the base is too decorated or too less accurate (I saw miniatures nice painted with a base horribly painted with a mass of mixed flock and rocks.
On the contrary I saw not-so-well painted miniatures enached by a good base.
Never understimate the power of the base!
Mmmmh... I remember a picture posted by Mortis, maybe a couple of years ago, a sort of... "HeroQuest boxes tower" I think he has hundred of HQ heroes to modify!

Me too, I don't have the courage to modify my HQ set! That's why I bought some extra HQ minis some months ago!
