Would random extracts from the finished parts of the Hero's Handbook tide you over for a while?

Flintlock Pistol
RANGE: 6”
ATTACK
2 White Combat Dice
SPECIAL RULES:
Difficult to use: Characters with a negative  Ranged Attack Modifier cannot use Black Powder Weapons
Black Powder Weapon Damage:  a target takes  +1 Damage in addition to any Undefended Damage caused by a Flintlock Pistol. If no damage was caused do not add +1 Damage.
Misfire: if any number of [Special]s are rolled when firing a Black Powder Weapon the user suffers 1 point of Normal Damage.
Reload: after they have been Fired, Flintlock Pistols require an Action to reload them before they can be fired again (Action: Reload Pistols). Note that if you have more than 1 Flintlock Pistol you may reload them all at once in 1 single Action
Additional Dice: If a character has a positive Ranged Attack Modifier or makes an advance to increase the number of dice rolled when firing a Black Powder Weapon, Red Combat Dice are added to the Attack (not White Combat Dice).
Attack modifiers
Each Class has a set of Attack Modifiers which modify the number of White Combat Dice your character rolls when attacking, there are 2 kinds: Close Combat and Ranged. The Close Combat Attack Modifier effect Close Combat Weapons like Swords, Axes and Spears. The Ranged Attack Modifier effects Ranged Weapons like Bows, Crossbows and Pistols. This means different classes are better or worse with different kinds of attacks. When filling in your Character Sheet remember to add (or subtract) the correct number of WCD to (or from) your weapon's attack

When shooting with a Bow, an Elf automatically re-rolls any dice that roll a [Special] this dose-not effect the Elf's Fate Points and the new result may be re-rolled using Fate in the normal way.

No Blackpowder Weapons: Elves distrust and will not use Blackpowder Weapons
