Someone vandalised my XR2(underneath the bird is a scratch mark of words)so being silver I could not repair it well......so out of the ashes rose a 'phoenix'.Hand copied from the cd case onto the bonnet with chinagraph pencil(easy to rub out errors) & then filled in with car paints(black,silver & maroon) & lacquer on top................................Unfortunately I never took a photo of the roof  with the Spawn painting on the roof(let that be a lesson;it is so easy to take digital photos & store them on your PC before you sell or give away a nice piece-if you don't,you will wish you had later?).......... on the cathedral spire with his cape flowing over everything-I burnt my arms painting the roof/bonnet on a few hot summer weeks over 10 years ago.                                                                                                                                                                                                     The lacquer had come off the roof & the bodyshop wanted £200 to respray it-it only cost me a few quid & some time/energy to put an eye catching painting on the car.I do not recommend doing it if your car is under 20 years old & you hope to sell it for a good price.I'd love to get my hands on an old(over 25 years & no road tax to pay) VW camper & paint a theme on it.I am trying to resist painting my 12 years old Puma.I was going to infill the flames but never got around to it.
